FOUNDER/EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Kat is a Masters prepared Social Worker and the fearless visionary and Executive Director of The Barn. She facilitates many Equine Assisted Learning and Therapy groups as well as overseeing the day to day operations at The Barn.

VICE PRESIDENT

Shana Tundevold helped found The Barn for Equine Learning back in 2015 and has been working with kids and horses together in various ways over the past 15 years. She is currently a local school social worker but loves to help out with Barn programs and chores whenever she can. She is happily married and has three very active boys!

TREASURER

Taylor has been involved with The Barn since it’s start in 2015, and has been in the horse world since 2011. She is passionate about The Barn’s mission and its growth. In her free time, Taylor plays polo, cooks, and relaxes with her husband Travis and dog Sophia.

Amy is a realtor with 19 years of experience helping people and families of West Michigan find their way home. She is active in serving the community through volunteering and supporting charities. The Barn is one of her greatest passions to support. She loves watching her daughter Brooke learn and progress in her riding abilities at The Barn.

As a life long equestrian, Krissy is very connected to the mission of The Barn. Krissy enjoys assisting with many of our programs, most notably our Adaptive Riding Program. As an active volunteer in the community, Krissy is also a member of Grand Rapids Women Who Care and The Dorothy Swift Hospital Guild. She is also a proud sponsor of The Grand Agriculture Center and The Kent County Youth Fair.
